Psych Central

The first brand I was brought on to work for was Psych Central, chosen for my ability to create conceptual illustrations. Given the sensitive nature of mental health, my goal was to approach each design with empathy and thoughtfulness, ensuring conditions were represented appropriately.

Psych Central uses warm yellows and oranges balanced against deep blues to reflect the light and dark we experience in mental health. These tones, combined with rich symbolism, help create dramatic and thought-provoking imagery that resonates with audiences. It was important that I didn’t sugarcoat messages but instead conveyed understanding and support through thoughtful, positive imagery. The goal was to create visuals that felt honest and compassionate, reinforcing hope while respecting the realities of mental health.
